My name is Duncan Robinson, I am now a Pastor in a Church in Maricopa, AZ. It is strange how God leads a person, and even stranger how God leads an Australian to be involved in a Church plant in the middle of the Desert. I was born in Malaysia, raised in Sydney, educated at UTS, Married to Carly, Educated again at Morling, and now located in the USA.
My first job was flipping burgers in Year 9 at McDonalds. My second Job was office boy at Ernst & Young. I later moved into a role as a website producer for a media and finance company, then transitioned into the IT Managers role. After a trip to the USA to pursue a Job as a sporting scout, God gave me an epiphany and I decided to pursue ministry.
I have spent 9 years in Youth Ministry, 4 as a volunteer leader and 5 as a Youth Pastor. I have spent countless hours preaching at youth groups, camps and training events all over Australia.
I am married to Carly who is an amazing woman and supports me in every crazy idea that I have for Jesus, it takes a lot to be a crazy pastors wife, and I love her for it!
I am now in charge of the Grow Ministries area at COC, which means that small groups, discipleship, technology and web all fall under my domain. I love it in the Desert, and I am sure in summer the Gates of Hell are open somewhere close to Maricopa, because it is damn hot!
