The Unlikely Hero
It’s true after searching endlessly for the right title to call my book I came to the conclusion that Unlikely Hero would be the best title. That ‘thing’ on the front cover is a balearic sling, or more simply the sling David used to beat Goliath. With an unbeatable title and a sweet graphic this was certainly going to be a best seller! That is until I realized after it was released that there is a gay romance novel with the very same title. My apologies to the people who were hoping to read about Brock and Lance’s burgeoning love affair, this book is about the journey to find Christ. Yup that might be a hunk of coal on the front cover; that doesn’t look anything like a sling; but sometimes the tastiest things come in terrible packaging.
I’ll stop short of calling this the greatest book ever written, it probably isn’t. But according to Amazon this is clearly in the top 1.5million greatest books ever written. So go ahead buy a copy, I had a great editor and a brilliant time writing this book. It is a simple easy read on how God continues to use people in extraordinary ways.
