Speaking

Sometimes you need to muster 20,000 angry Scots to fight for the freedom of a nation. I understand that can be difficult, finding the right kilt and warpaint can be a terribly tiresome affair. Remember that Youth Night that you put on, you were sure there would be 1000 people and 6 showed up. Either way I can speak at both, my versatility makes me like the Swiss Army knife for speaking, not one of those small ones either I am the 60+ function multi-tool. Stopping just short of women’s conferences I am pretty happy to speak anywhere, plus I hardly have anything on my rider so I’m really easy to please.

I love nothing better than stringing letters into words and making them sentences. Often times people laugh, rarely does anyone throw anything. Plus having an Australian accent in the USA makes a lot of what I say far more important and intellectual. I once spoke at a retirement home and had someone curse the volume of my voice, he eventually realized his hearing aid was off and the second part of the message was a little confusing for him. He was apologetic, and I like talking on Apologetics.

It seems to be quite obvious that you have stumbled on the perfect speaker for your conference/camp/event/youthgroup/singles/mens/married couples event. You might as well just drop me a line and book me now. I’d totally love to do it, assuming I have that date free.

I have done numerous Youth Talks, Camps, Training Seminars and Lectures in Australia. I was a Speaker for YouthSurge which is a National Organization in Australia. I have spoken for Presbyterian Youth Camps in NSW and Qld. I have spoken for Camps in Arizona and California for Youth and Young Adults. I am currently located in Maricopa, Arizona (about 15miles South of Phoenix).

Typically people ask me to speak to the following groups;

-  Middle School/ High School Students

-  College

- Singles

- Young Married

I have been posting both Videos (3 Minute Devotionals) and Audio (Talks) from my most recent Sermons on this website if you’d like to listen to them.

I am always looking for new speaking opportunities and often do several camps a year. Send me an email at duncan(@)churchofcelebration(dot)com and I’ll happily help you out. (I get nasty spam mail if I don’t write my email address like that)
